Begonia paint project for June 24th.

Yesterday I painted this begonia on canvas as a learning piece. I went to a class at Hobby Lobby and met with Pennie Sunderman for her to teach me about oil painting. I didn't finish it in class but I came home and stayed up til 12 midnight to finish this little cutie! It's on a thick 11 X 14 canvas with a beige background of Linen. Will Sell. $55.00 or best offer.

This is a mural on the wall over my work area in my painting room.

I just had to have the clock to remind me to take a break from work.

Look! Look! Look! See Alice. See what Alice made!

This was my clay project for Tuesday, June 24th. I just love it! It now hangs in my new sewing room. The walls in my new sewing room is a butter-color. So this will go perfect.

How do you like this little bird? I painted it yesterday with the Georgia Peach Painters. He is painted on a piece of masonite. And as usual he turned out really good.

Nola Brantley Library Demo 6-17-09

This is the Nola Brantley Library Meeting Room in Warner Robins, GA. I taught the students the One Stroke method of painting. I also showed some of the projects with Studio clay.
The students were very attentive. They ranged in age from 5 to 14.

My sister, Grace helped me with loading and unloading the artwork. She also took the pictures for me. It's good to have a sister that believes in what you are doing.

This is me teaching the students to paint.

This last picture was taken before class. Everyone seem to enjoy the week of "Be Creative" at the library.
Thank you to all who participated.

This is what I painted on Saturday with the Heart of Georgia chapter of the Society of Decorative Painters!

This is a small 8 X 10 canvas. But boy
, what a dynamic punch for flowers!
And after it is put in a dark frame, it really shows you what it can do!
