Monday night art class got me going on this picture!

So I stayed up til 2am Tuesday morning and finished this!

Everything is coming up ROSES!

This past weekend I painted this rose.  Maybe one day I will frame it.

Getting ready for Christmas!

This is a clothespin that I painted to hold my Christmas cards.  One side of the clothespin is for birthdays too.  It's 12 inches long or tall.  Because you can lay it down or stand it up.  How neat is that?

Georgia National Fair 2010!!!

100_1845This is the picture I entered at the Georgia National Fair in Perry, GA.  It will be displayed throughout the entire fair at the Miller-Murphy building with all the other paintings.  Some of the painters from my painting classes have also entered their artwork.  It will be nice to see all the other paintings along with mine.
This painting is a one that was taught by Clemmie Allen, president of Georgia Peach Painters.  It is an orignal painting by Sherry C. Nelson.
Hope all of you come out and enjoy the fair!

Vermont here we come!!!

My husband and I have been wanting to go to Vermont for years to see the leaves change and some of those beautiful old covered bridges.  So here we come!  We are leaving tomorrow morning!  I can hardly wait!
